About Global Payment The Global Payment team of Bytedance provides payment solutions - including payment acquisitions, disbursements, transaction monitoring, payment method management, foreign exchange conversion, accounting, reconciliations, and so on to ensure that our users have a smooth and secure payment experience on ByteDance platforms including TikTok. We are seeking a mission-driven and analytically-minded intern. Your primary focus will be on improving the core metrics that build trust and drive growth. You will dive deep into our operational data to identify levers for improvement, coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement changes, and measure the impact of those changes on our customers' confidence. This is a role for a future strategist and operator. As a Project Intern, you will contribute to impactful short-term projects and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, professional environment. Responsibilities: - Responsible for building and expanding the global payment platform by connecting with payment partners, building internal user account and checkout experience, optimizing FX trading strategies and rules, designing payment solution for different use cases to support ByteDance Group’s business international expansion. - Conduct industry and user analysis on partners' capabilities, business requirements, working with Engineering, BD and other internal stakeholders to digger optimization points for our payment product. - Conduct end-to-end product experience design and development to deliver high-quality payment products in a timely manner. Focusing on upgrading and optimizing platform products to enhance the platform's capability in improving end-user experience, operation efficiency, system stability, meeting compliance requirements, and reducing cost etc. Minimum Qualifications: - Currently pursuing a Undergraduate in fields such as Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, etc. - Strong analytical skills, be able to think logically and independently. - Strong execution skills with a sense of responsibility and ownership, drive projects forward and solve problems timely and efficiently. - Excellent communication skills. - Work well in a cross-functional team environment Preferred Qualifications: - Background in engineering or Computer Science is a plus. - Intern experience in end-to-end product management in software or web technologies is a plus.
