APM Programs for 2027: Every Program and When It Opens
Most APM programs are open for days, not months. Here is every major program, when it actually opens, and what it pays, from years of tracked posting data.

The one fact that changes your whole strategyThe master table: when each program opensThe big five, brieflyThe fast closers deserve their own planYour 2027 season, month by monthHow to actually run the seasonThe one fact that changes your whole strategy
Salesforce's most recent APM postings closed in about two hours. Atlassian's last intern window lasted four days. LinkedIn's 2024 new-grad APM posting was up for three. APMList has tracked every major Associate Product Manager posting since 2021, and the data says one thing loudly: these programs open for a moment, then they are gone. The question that decides most outcomes is rarely resume quality. It is whether you saw the posting while it was alive.
That is what this page is for. Below is every major APM program we track, when it actually opened in past cycles, and what the postings paid. The dates come from our own hourly tracking data, not from guesswork or recycled blog posts. Where a company has a reliable pattern, we say so. Where it does not, we say that too.
People call this window APM season, and it is longer than most assume. The openings below spread across ten months rather than clustering into one fall rush, which is why treating September as the whole season costs people a program or two every year. Our live APM season tracker shows what is open today. This page tells you when to start watching.
One definition before the table: an APM program is a structured entry-level product manager job, usually one to two years with rotations, mentorship, and a cohort. If you want the fuller picture of the role itself, start with what an associate product manager actually does.
The master table: when each program opens
Dates below are from APMList posting data, 2021 through July 2026, except Google's new-grad pay, which is the Levels.fyi figure from our Google APM guide. "Typically opens" is the pattern across tracked cycles; companies change timing, so treat these as planning anchors, not promises.

Both of our live lists, APM new-grad roles and APM internships, refresh hourly against these same postings, so the table above tells you when to start watching and the lists tell you the moment something is real.
The big five, briefly
Five programs draw most of the applications, and each has its own guide on this site with the full timeline and interview breakdown.
Google APM is the original, started in 2002, and still the most famous. Full-time only, small cohort, fall window of roughly four weeks. The Google APM guide has the full interview loop; there is a separate guide for the internship.
Meta RPM rotates you through three teams and pays the most of any program we track, $172K to 193K posted. Postings come in summer waves rather than one clean window. Details in the Meta RPM guide.
Atlassian APM is the one to target if you cannot relocate: it is remote-friendly across the US, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. It is also a four-day window on recent evidence. The Atlassian guide covers its values-heavy interview.
Salesforce APM posts the shortest windows we have ever measured, down to about two hours, with a July internship cycle a full year ahead. See the Salesforce guide.
LinkedIn ended its classic APM program in 2025 and replaced it with the Associate Product Builder, where the application is a product demo rather than a resume. The APB guide covers the new program, the LinkedIn internship guide covers the intern door, and our Google vs Meta vs LinkedIn comparison weighs all three side by side.
The fast closers deserve their own plan
Look down the "last tracked window" column. Salesforce, two hours. LinkedIn, three days. Atlassian and Pinterest, four days. This is the defining trend in APM recruiting: as the programs get more famous, companies fill their pipelines faster and pull the posting.
A weekly manual check of ten careers pages cannot catch a two-hour window. The math only works if the watching is automated and the applying is fast:
- Watch automatically. Our lists refresh hourly, and Simplify's APM tracker tracks the same programs with open, closed, and opening-soon status. Checking two bookmarks daily during your target months takes one minute.
- Apply the same day. Have one polished resume, a transcript PDF, and your two or three core stories ready before your season starts. Simplify Copilot autofills applications, which turns a same-day application from a scramble into a few minutes.
- Never bet on one program. These programs pick cohorts of a dozen or two from thousands of applicants, so a single application is a rejection with extra steps. The whole point of the table above is that the windows are spread across ten months, so a prepared candidate can hit a dozen of them.
Key takeaway: treat APM recruiting like a season, not an event. The candidates who win are rarely the ones with the flashiest resume; they are the ones who applied to twelve programs on day one of each window.
Your 2027 season, month by month
Here is the same data arranged as a calendar. This is the plan we would hand a rising senior or a 2027 grad today.
| When | What opens, based on past cycles |
|---|---|
| August 2026 | Duolingo intern (opens like clockwork in late August), Meta RPM waves, TikTok rolling begins |
| September 2026 | Google APM, Atlassian (both tracks), Intuit RPM (month announced by Intuit), Capital One, ServiceNow, Coinbase, Figma |
| October 2026 | Google and LinkedIn interns, Microsoft PM intern, Salesforce full-time waves, Roblox |
| November 2026 | Late fall stragglers; NVIDIA team-by-team postings start |
| December 2026 to January 2027 | Cloudflare intern, Duolingo new grad, NVIDIA and TikTok continue |
| February 2027 | Historically LinkedIn APM's month; the classic program ended in 2025, so watch spring waves instead |
| March to April 2027 | IBM, spring waves from Salesforce and TikTok |
| June to July 2027 | Salesforce intern (Summer 2028), Pinterest apprentice, Databricks, LinkedIn APB |
Two honest caveats. Companies move their dates, sometimes by a month or more, so start watching two or three weeks before the historical pattern says you need to. And a few programs, Uber's APM most notably, post sporadically rather than on a schedule; for those, the hourly lists are the only reliable method.
One thing the table hides: APM windows do not sit in a vacuum. The weeks you spend refreshing Google and Meta postings are the same weeks consulting, banking, and the rest of big tech close their own applications. If you are hedging APM with anything else, put all of it on one calendar early, because the collisions are not obvious until you are already inside them. This month-by-month map of when each industry opens lays the other tracks out side by side.
Intuit is the odd one out in a good way: it announced its month. The Intuit RPM guide covers the September window and the program's unusual one-year-then-six-month rotation structure.
Three more programs from the table now have full guides: Roblox, which screens candidates with an assessment built inside Roblox itself; Coinbase, whose last APM posting was open remote from anywhere in the US; and Databricks, whose new-grad APM posting is open as of late July 2026. Sophomores who cannot yet apply to any of these should read the Duolingo Thrive guide, one of the few name-brand product internships open two years before graduation.
If you are earlier in school, the same calendar applies one year out: the internship windows above are your targets, and the APM internships list is the page to live on. Sophomores and juniors who cannot apply to a product role yet usually chase any internship at these same companies instead, working from a big tech internship list that gets passed around a lot among students. That is not a consolation prize. A summer at Google or Meta in any function gives you something concrete to point at when their APM window opens the following year.
How to actually run the season
The programs above get thousands of applications for cohorts of a dozen or two. What separates the people who get in, beyond luck, is boring logistics done early.
- August: finish your resume and transcript, draft your stories, pick your twelve target programs from the table.
- September through November: check your two tracking pages daily, apply within 24 hours of anything opening, and keep interviewing skills warm with one practice question a week.
- December through spring: the second wave. Most people quit after the fall; the spring waves from Salesforce, TikTok, and IBM reward the ones who did not.
A tracker helps more than motivation does. Simplify's free Job Tracker keeps every application, deadline, and follow-up in one place, which matters by the time you are twelve applications deep in October. Plenty of candidates run it alongside LinkedIn alerts, and the combination covers nearly everything.
Do this next: pick your programs from the master table today, put the historical opening months in your calendar, and set up the new-grad list, the internship list, and Simplify's tracker as your three daily checks starting in August. The 2027 season starts in about a month.
